A lovely mixup from traditional French cuisine but consistent with traditional French service and exceptional local wine options. In an area defined by meat focused dishes, Cafe Saigon caterers excellently for vegetarian and vegans. Highly recommend the shrimp starter and tofu main as pictured below. I must visit when staying in Saint Emillion.

What an unforgettable experience at Cafe Saigon! From the moment we stepped in we were met with a warm, inviting ambiance. The owner, who is not only super friendly but clearly passionate about both the food and customer experience, made us feel right at home.
We tried almost everything on the menu between the two of us, and each dish was a delightful revelation of flavors, showcasing the vibrant essence of Vietnamese cuisine. The freshness and creativity in each plate were evident, making every bite a memorable experience. Best of all, the menu changes daily, offering a fresh twist each time you visit. We’ll definitely be back, many times, to savor whatever new delights await us!

The viet spring roll (or fried ravioli as they call it in the menu) is a must try, it burst with fragrance of fresh herbs wrapped in a crispy skin. We stopped in to Saint Émilion enroute to Bordeaux for lunch and found Cafe Saigon. The food was delicious and the service great. We had the pork spring rolls and the shrimp/prawn dish. The menu was limited but I think the chef changes this daily. I highly recommend this restaurant if visiting Saint Émilion.

Soup is plainly flavourful and I only manage to left it with the only ingredients we can’t eat (its star anise by the way)
French Chef making Vietnamese dish fused with local French Flavour is just FANTASTIC!!!

A unique experience with deep historical background. Expressive, tangy, delicate flavors put together with French attention to detail. Nicely paired with a local white wine. TIP: An oasis is a land of amazing cheese.

We had amazing food here! The beef meatballs and the chicken pho soup were phenomenal. We also had the taro soup for dessert (it sounds wild, but was one of the best desserts we’ve had)! Highly recommend!

Delicious food. I’ve eaten at many Vietnamese restaurants outside of Vietnam, as well as spent 6 weeks in Vietnam, and this is one of the few places outside Vietnam that has really nailed the flavors. We loved everything we ate here. Highly recommend it. Service was friendly and quick, too. Merci beaucoup!

So delicious! We came twice in two days. The menu changes daily, usually two starters and two entrees per day. Totally worth skipping some of the less-than-stellar French restaurants in town… Wine tasting + lunch here + dinner at La Table de Pavie = ❤️🇫🇷🍷 The kitchen is downstairs and open so you can see that everything is cooked fresh. Absolutely lovely and authentic Vietnamese family-run restaurant!
